The Saskatchewan Foundation For the Arts Awards provide financial assistance to individual artists. The program is funded by the generosity of donors who have invested and established Endowments that are administered by the Saskatchewan Foundation For the Arts.
The awards support Saskatchewan artists in the literary, multidisciplinary, performing (dance, music and theatre) and visual arts.
Applicants must be residents of Saskatchewan and involved in arts activities within the province.
The Foundation predetermines award recipients by engaging in a juried adjudication process annually to ensure applications are assessed by qualified jurors. Each year the Foundation Board of Trustees assesses the monies generated from the endowment fund to make awards in that year.

Awards from the Foundation were first made in 2007. Awards have been made in years when funds have been available from the growing endowments, or when funds have been donated for specific annual awards.
