We are deeply saddened by the passing of Claire Kramer (1926–2025), a visionary philanthropist and founding member of the Saskatchewan Foundation For the Arts.

Claire was instrumental in turning a dream into reality: championing Saskatchewan writers through the creation of the Glengarry Book Award Prize. Her legacy lives on in every story that finds its voice through this award.
